Olivia "Livvy" Dunne captivated audiences at the 2025 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show, held on May 31 at W South Beach during Miami Swim Week. The 22-year-old former LSU gymnast, now a prominent influencer and model, showcased her athletic prowess by performing a spontaneous split at the end of the runway. Dressed in a black and white polka-dot one-piece swimsuit by Gabriela Pires Beachwear, she added a playful twist to her walk, delighting the crowd with her signature flair. Dunne later shared the moment on social media, humorously referring to it as a "split decision" and revealing that the move was a planned stunt she had practiced beforehand.
Despite recovering from a fractured kneecap sustained during her SI Swimsuit cover shoot in Bermuda, Dunne delivered a flawless performance on the runway. Her resilience and dedication were evident as she seamlessly integrated her gymnastics background into her modeling debut. This appearance marked her third consecutive feature in the SI Swimsuit issue and her first as a cover model, joining the ranks of Salma Hayek Pinault, Lauren Chan, and fellow gymnast Jordan Chiles. Dunne expressed her excitement about exploring new opportunities beyond gymnastics, including potential ventures in travel and acting.
In addition to the runway show, Dunne attended the SI Swimsuit launch party at the Hard Rock Hotel in New York City earlier in May. She graced the red carpet in a strapless mini dress and later changed into a sheer black ensemble for the afterparty, where she mingled with fellow cover stars and celebrities. Her presence at these events highlighted her transition from collegiate athlete to fashion icon, solidifying her status as a multifaceted talent in the entertainment industry.
