EJAE at Met Gala in New York 2026 Wearing Swarovski Venus Fusion Crystal Gown

EJAE attended the 2026 Met Gala in New York City wearing the Swarovski Venus Fusion gown designed by Giovanna Engelbert, creating one of the evening’s most dazzling red carpet appearances. Covered in more than 700,000 crystals, the couture-inspired design transformed light and movement into a striking artistic fashion statement.

The Swarovski Venus Fusion gown featured a sculpted crystal-encrusted corset adorned with approximately 60,000 crystals and 1,000 crystal pearls, all carefully hand-embroidered into the design. The fitted bodice reflected light from every angle, creating an illuminated effect that made the gown appear almost like a living sculpture. The craftsmanship and intricate detailing elevated the look into a true couture masterpiece.

Flowing beneath the corset, the iridescent skirt introduced fluid movement and subtle color shifts inspired by Najeonchilgi, the traditional Korean lacquerware art technique. The shimmering layered construction added dimension and softness against the highly structured crystal bodice, creating a balanced combination of heritage inspiration and futuristic glamour.

EJAE completed the ensemble with Swarovski Constella jewelry and layered Una Angelic and Millenia crystal strands styled as a sparkling belt detail. Her hairstyle referenced the elegance of Joseon dynasty gisaeng styling and included a modern Swarovski-crafted binyeo hairpin. Matching custom 3D crystal nail art using the same stones as the gown added a final artistic touch, making the entire Met Gala appearance feel cohesive, luxurious, and visually unforgettable.
